When young design star Florian Schmid noticed that his folding yardstick had gotten wet and twisted, he was struck with a notion that eventually inspired the base of Acco Dining Table. Crafted in solid walnut, the angled uprights also resemble an accordion, as the table’s name implies, forming a distinctive geometric pattern. With a raft of tabletop choices in clear glass, varied woodgrain finishes or a ceramic that resembles marble, the table retains a light and genial presence in any interior.
