This is the armless version of the “U” rendition of the Utility Chair, replete with all the details that define this collection and its updated take on the industrial aesthetic. Curved legs are fashion from solid walnut or ash. An upholstered backrest matches the tufted matching, cut from luxurious textiles or leather. And the stainless steel frame finished in brass. Neri&Hu—Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu—tap East and West archetypes and craft in their work, for a globally modern sensibility. The architects balance projects at their own Shanghai-based studio along with serving as creative directors at Stellar Works, which produces this collection.
