Miguel Milá’s opal glass Cesta transforms into a pendant that summons the very essence of Mediterranean culture. Inspired by a discarded globe light the designer came upon while strolling through Barcelona in the 1960s, the characteristic shape became the heart of a large family of lamps for Barcelona’s Santa & Cole. Now a modernist classic, Globo remains prized for its warmly atmospheric LED glow.
