Copenhagen-based &Tradition’s pathbreaking molded shell chair made from 100 percent recycled plastic also comes in a custom-upholstered model with a sturdy steel tube base. With its contours clad in HR foam covered with fine fabric or buttery leather upholstery, Rely from Danish designer Hee Welling recasts the touchstone Scandinavian shell chair in a version that combines extended comfort with eco-friendly bonafides. To complement the chosen chair covering, the tubular base is available in a black powder-coat, bronzed or chrome option.
