Given London design team Barber & Osgerby’s ongoing structural experimentation with folded material, it follows that Shell Table references Marcel Breuer’s similarly bended 1936 design for Isokon (also at A+R). With a molded, laminated top and legs in lacquered birch, Shell is sturdy but lightweight and has no mechanical fixings. Handcrafted in the UK.
