Petite Friture’s large-scale pendant features a undulating shade made of metal strips that gently moves and spins with the breeze. Veiled by graphic lines that cast shadows on the floor and surrounding walls, a sphere of handblown glass with built-in LED technology emits softly glowing illumination. Charlotte Guisset’s marvelous construction comes in 2 hues— white to bathe a room in luxuriant rays or in black, with “light becoming a sensation, …a mystery,” she says.
