Beam from British designer Matthew Hilton is a sleek mashup with an angular design and a simple construction. The coffee table’s steel frame is mounted with double wooden planks, on which the toughened glass top is situated. For a striking contrast, the metal has a textured black powder-coat finish while the beams are available in solid ash or walnut. Effortlessly blending together steel, wood and glass, SCP’s furnishing comes in rectangular or square versions.
