Showing off its industrial roots, the Bestlite wall light variation BL5 is both highly functional and elegantly engineered. The adjustable arm moves up and down and can be positioned horizontally or vertically and the shade is moveable as well. Designed by the British designer Robert Dudley Best in 1930, the utilitarian ethos and now-classic lines were influenced by the Bauhaus credo of the era. The lamp serves equally well mounted over a desk, at bedside for reading or even in the kitchen when the light needs to be directed at a workstation.
