High-rimmed shelves down below can also handle pantry items and produce. Add-ons like bin organizers, a wall grid and bottle tray (also at A+R) are also an option to customize the unit. Made of fine textured metal in a choice of powder-coat colors with designer Nils Strining’s ingenious—and always expandable—coated-wire framework, String has been a design-world standard since its introduction in 1949.
