Touted as the lightest chair in the world—weighing 1660 grams or just under 4 pounds—Oskar Zieta’s minimalistic Ultraleggera Chair is inspired in turn by Italian architect Gio Ponti’s 1957 featherweight Superleggera. Built on an ultra-lightweight, durable frame shaped with innovative FiDU technology which uses air to form the metal, Oskar’s version has a laser-cut seat and backrest. Fashioned entirely in highest-quality aluminum, a completely recyclable material, Ultraleggera is a model of durability and timeless style.
