Paavo Tynell turns to nature as the inspiration for his winsome table lamp with a shell-shaped brass shade and rattan-wrapped post. Underneath, the lightbulb appears to resemble a revealed pearl, bringing a sense of playfulness to the Finnish designer’s circa-1938 creation. Gubi now revives the timeless style for contemporary interiors, to bring a little verve to a table or desk.
