Paava Tynell’s striking table lamp 9209 was first produced in 1940, contrasting a metal upright hand-wrapped with lacquered rattan and the molded, polished spun-brass shade with triangular patterns of perforation. A decorative signature of the legendary Finnish designer, the holes punched in the shade require precise craftsmanship—resulting in soft pinpricks of light on the brass surface that create a soft, textured glow and a starlight-like sparkle.
