In either gleaming brass or matte black finish, the mid-century Domo Table Lamp reflects Italian designer Joe Colombo’s emphasis on unfussy functionality. Debuting in 1965 as a part of modernist Danish brand Karakter’s initial collection, the signature domed shade speaks to the designer’s frequent use of curved shapes, in this case tempered with a flat base and thin stem to decrease visual clutter. Updated with a seamlessly integrated in-line switch on the cable and energy-efficient LED functionality, Domo remains more than relevant over 50 years later.
