Taking the traditional English roll-arm sofa as their starting point, designers Stine Gam and Enrico Fratesi reimagine the characteristic undulating form in Gubi’s scaled-down 2 Seater. Flaneur updates the original with low, generous Italian proportions combined with softly rounded cushions while maintaining a precise silhouette and taut upholstery. A slender wooden frame underpins the inner layering of springs, foam and feathers to offer indisputable comfort in both seated and reclined positions. Immaculate piping defines the seat and backrest cushions, which have removable covers, and the sofa’s metal legs come in either antique brass or matte black.
