Pondering transition spaces that in the home that rarely call for a rectangular or round rug, designer Piero Lissoni throws a twist into the usual perspective with Île, a series of hand-tufted, irregular “islands” with a shorter-pile border around edge. Distinctively interpreted in individual standout colors, Asplund’s geometric series is made of 50% wool and 50% Tencel, for a soft hand and a deeply lustrous finish.
