Oft seen in midcentury furnishings, the roll-front design proved potent inspiration for Simon Legald’s tall storage cabinet. Jalousi reinterprets the sliding cabinet closure as a vertical rolling shutter in appealing hues that contrast beautifully with the unit’s oak veneer. The graphic repetition of the colored shutters lends an updated look to the cabinet, apropos to the office, dining room, living room or any area where discreet storage is desired.
