Koyabari means “roof beam“ in Japanese and Ariake’s console is likewise suggested by traditional joinery techniques, with a thick beam positioned close to the ground for maximum stability. Gabriel Tan’s design, rendered in varied oak or ash wood finishes, also exudes a satisfyingly punch of visual geometry.
