With AJ6, Danish master Arne Jacobsen’s iconic Mayor Sofa adapts for the oft-smaller footprint of living spaces in a 2-seater version. Named for its 1939 introduction at the Søllerød city hall, the lines of the original are faithfully reproduced by Copenhagen’s &Tradition, with a pleasingly austere shape softened by wool Maharam fabric. Frame and exposed legs in solid oak and hand-built by skilled craftsmen, upholding the legacy of Arne Jacobsen’s spare aesthetic.
