A lounge chair for sprawling joins Mater’s sustainable take on a midcentury outdoor classic. Ocean replaces the 1955 original’s wood veneer with slats made from discarded fishing nets mixed with upcycled hard plastic—the equal of 2 1/2 pounds of ocean waste. Legendary designers Jørgen and Nanna Ditzel’s series is denoted by its invitingly airy contours and sleek steel frame with a gunmetal finish.
