The Safari Chair encapsulates easy, relaxed luxury. Reimagined through the eyes of luminaries such as Kaare Klint (Denmark), Arne Norell (Sweden) and Jorge Zalszupin (Brazil), its iconic sling-back leather arms and buckled straps pay tribute to the self- assembled chairs originally used by the British military and later, taken on Safari to add an element of civility, comfort and repose, when on tour outdoors. Now a modern archetype, the Safari Chair is made of solid oak with upholstery available in two vegetable tanned genuine leather colourways – Bark and Wild Berry – where its deep cognac tones and spherical detail add warmth and femininity to its otherwise elegant but masculine lines.
