Norm Architects smartly accommodates all manner of seating configurations with its series of individual sofa modules for Karimoku Case. N-S02 is built with a solid oak base and soft upholstery, balancing the invitingly rounded cushions with the dark timber frame replete with exquisitely crafted joinery details. Small spline joints in each corner of the base tell a story of the traditional woodcraft heritage evident in Japanese culture and create a coherence across the collection’s left and right arm and armless sofa pieces and ottoman.
