One of the earliest known shell chairs, The Orange also comes clad with full upholstery that lends another layer of comfort as well as a dash of added verve. Danish architect Hans Olsen’s enduring ‘50s armchair is said to be inspired by curls of fruit rind but its prime oak contours transcend those humble origins in a choice of oiled or black-stained finish.
