The kicky little Type 75 Mini Wall Mounted Lamp scales down the Anglepoise classic to deploy in tighter spaces. It’s a variation on the lamp that British design master Sir Kenneth Grange once termed a “minor miracle of balance.” Call it serendipity that he was recently tapped to create this update. (Sir Kenneth’s vaunted 50-year career also includes the Kodak Instamatic, England’s Intercity 125 high-speed train and the redesigned London taxi.) In burst-of-bright colors or the classic finishes, the wall mounted Mini sidles in to bring fully adjustable light just where it’s needed.
