Cutting-edge designers are looking to modular seating once again for its spaciousness, versatility and free-form comfort. Resident of New Zealand’s creative director Simon James subtly adjusts the proportions on his Arcade system of single or corner seats, chaises and ottomans that can all be paired together for a completely custom result. The slim L-shaped arm variation lightens the look of the plumply cushioned seat and back while a wider-arm option melds with the fuller proportions. With a multi-density feather and foam fill and timber frame, the units are available in upholstery choices from a choice of premium fabrics to a fine leather.
