Fish Rug’s medium-size version, like its siblings in designer Thomas Sandell’s series, takes its hand-tufted pattern in relief from an abstraction of the little swimmer’s coat of scales. Realized in 100% wool, it comes in Asplund’s nearly endless selection of appealing colorways, carefully artisan-crafted from the beginning process of dying the yarn to the final manual cutting of the luxurious pile surface.
