The graphic grooves bring to mind Lance Wyman’s now-iconic and thoroughly modern and festive font for the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City, yet in the hands of Bend Goods’ Gaurav Nanda, realized as a bulbous lounge seat. While there is ample room for a comforting kick back, big in size it’s not, as this scaled-down update considers space. Like all of Bend Goods’ signature wire furnishings, Hot Seat handcrafted in the company’s unique and sustainable process and finished with a galvanized treatment and final powder coat—for hours of peacefully relaxing, indoors or out.
