An upholstered seat adds a custom character to Karimoku Case’s armchair originally conceived for the renovation of Tokyo’s landmark ‘80s Kinuta Terrace apartments. Norm Architects studio brings a spare Nordic sensibility to complement the calm Japanese ideal in N-DC01, with its solid-oak expression in turned legs and a rounded backrest, paired with a fine leather- or textile-covered cushioning.
